The us-Gone where?
The us-Gone where?
Spinning the wheels between us two
You’re not the woman, You’re not the man, the us-we once both knew
Harm it’s over! Sarah, we’re not through?
You and me? Me and you!
It’s give and take, Harm. You take, I give
Not the best way for two people to live
Again, two ships passing -no tomorrows in sight
Why did we both lose this age-old fight?
Will there ever be a when……..us holding again in the night?
He is my left. She is my right.
What happened to the us that was there?
The we, Harm and Mac, Gone where?
Clay is there for me, Harm. He says what he means!
Sarah, don’t you know why!, as his heart silently screams
Harm, I moving on to live the life of my dreams.
Don’t go to him, Sarah, all’s not what is seems…….
It’s over, Harm! Please stop!
It’s impossible for both to be on top!
Why? Harm Tell me why? Do you even care?
Let’s work on us, Mac, Can we fix it? Or are we beyond repair?
Remember once we were Batman and Robin, the dynamic pair…..
That was the old Sarah, Harm. Don’t try to compare!
What happened to the us that was there?
The we, Mac and Harm, Gone where?

Being
Being
What does one become?
The dutiful daughter or the devoted wife
The loving mother or faithful friend,
Maybe the saintly sister ?
Conflicts and changes in a woman’s life
What does one become?
Fearful or stronger
Revengeful or forgiver
Nay-sayer or God-believer
Challenges and contradictions of a woman’s soul
What does one?

A Thousand Days, One Single Night
A thousand days, one single night
When will we get this thing of ours right?
When will we both stop trying to run?
Is it all over? or Haven’t we begun?
You come further with me than anyone else that I know.
"Don’t go"
Don’t leave my life, my heart in such a mess
Something I must tell you, Sarah, Some words I must confess
"I need you"
A thousand sighs, she’s gone and I ask myself why?
Should I have seen the trouble, all the warning signs?
Could have I told her, in many words or a few
"My dear Sarah, I love you"
A thousand regrets- see what indecision and hesitation gets!
Single evenings full of nightmares and yet,
I still harbor dreams of promises and deals
Have I been sidestepping all sorts of lies, or Sarah, It's something that frightens me, that this feeling-it's more than what's real?
A thousand smiles, hundreds of tears,
Dozens of memories and a million fears
She’s been there-beside me, my strength and my soul
Some days to argue, challenge and console
She given me hope, a reason to go on.
How do I tell her, now, that she's gone
I need her in my life, each and every day
"Sarah, please stay."
Why did she go so far away, didn’t she hear me?
I watched as she turned and walked out the door
The looks between us, lost-confusion and more
Didn't she know?
"Sarah, Don't go"
A single goodbye, a thousand secrets, wishes and thoughts
Should have we, could have we? Look what silence has brought
Harm, don’t you see what’s right in front of your eyes
Someone who has always loved you, that person's been I
I gave up love and a chance at happiness
Because of us and one passionate kiss
What would you have given up to have me, "this Marine" in your life?
Your career, your girlfriend, no answer, no reply-the quiet cuts through me like a hot burning knife?
Never know what we’re missing until it is gone.
"Harm, Enough with this dance, I’m moving on"
A single night under the southern cross,
A thousand reasons to wait and to pause.
Eternity "Is that how long we're gonna wait?"
Your answer: to give you time. Harm, you don't need a mate.
This mole-hill of a mountain in our lives we must climb
"You're just this way with me aren't you." I asked
"Only with you." your reply, emotions masked
Harm, I love you, I wouldn't have strayed
If only you didn't again, once again, pushed me away
A single touch, a thousand warm caring glances
This feeling of loss, with none of the romances
Make up your mind Harm, Do you want me to stay or to go?
When you make your decision, be sure to let me know!
I have an ache very deep in my heart
Of loneness I feel, when we're a part
Three single words, I'm longing to hear
A thousand excuses, but one thing is clear
Harm, I've loved you forever, from close to afar.
I wished us together every evening on the first shining star
I've kept my distance, given you space
Season by season, I waited for your embrace
Let's put "us" behind, and get on with our lives
We'll both move on to futures apart, we're strong: we'll both survive
I still love you Harm, but I'm getting tired of the chase
Let's end it, holding our hearts high and with some grace
A single day, so long ago. Thousands of whispers and promised nights
Look at us trying to do what is right
Dozens and dozens of sleepless twilight, Million of tears, I've cried over you
"We must bid adieu"
Just like Butch and Sundance. we'll go down in a blaze
Parting: sweet sorrow-going our separate ways.
Like misguided lovers-ours is the same never-ending sad story
"No guts" "No glory"

Sleepless Nights
Sleepless Nights
I'm tossing and turning
Your words keep on churning
"Why is it that you're only like this when I have one foot out the door?"
My mind keeps pacing
Inside, heartbeats are racing
"Your interest always fades when I might actually in a position to return it"
Fears fade into wide-awake nights
Something, Sarah, is not quite right
"Listen I’m going away"
What can I tell you, What will make you stay?
"Where?"
"Can't say."
She's leaving, She's gone What about us, don't we belong……..?
"For how long?"
Don ‘t know
These feelings inside, no longer can they hide, they're serious
"Is it dangerous?"
"Very, I leave tonight"
Thinking and tossing all night long
Wrestling between what's right and the wrong
The once that was us, did it ever exist?
Was it there from the first time we kissed?
Another sleepless night keeps me turning
Your words keep on burning
"I coming back you know."
"Mac, I don’t want you to go"

Sonnet for Midnight Lovers
Sonnet for Midnight Lovers
He whispers gently as she sleeps
Live with me, and be my love,
And we will all the pleasures prove
In the blue-green eyes of his desire speak
That hills and valleys, dales and fields,
And all the craggy mountains yields.
And he dreams a dream for two
There will we sit upon the rocks,
And see the shepherds feed their flocks,
I will build a home for you
By shallow rivers, by whose falls
Melodious birds sing madrigals.
Sarah, Live with me, and be my love.
She wakes to a tender kiss
There will I make thee a bed of roses,
With a thousand fragrant posies,
And traces his lips with her fingertips
A cap of flowers,
and a kirtle Embroider'd all with leaves of myrtle.
And in his gaze, a romantic look
Sarah, Live with me, and be my love.
She reaches for his passionate caress.
A belt of straw and ivy buds,
With coral clasps and amber studs;
In his warm embrace, he promises her,
And if these pleasures may thee move,
Then live with me and be my love.
SARAH'S ANSWER.
Harm, In all that I may believe:
If that the world and love were young,
And truth in every shepherd's tongue,
In all that I feel and do:
These pretty pleasures might me move
To live with thee and be thy love.
With all my heart and soul, and with the grace of God above.

Renewal of actor's contracts be thy game
Thy ratings come
Thy profits will be done
In syndication as well as cable
Give us on Tuesday our weekly JAG
Forgive us, shippers and all, our trepidations
As we forgive those who spoil and shock against us
Lead us not into internet temptation
Deliver us from reality shows
For this is the show, dress whites, gold wings and all
To show the power of the military and the glory of love
Forever in our hearts

Patton's Prayer
"Almighty and most merciful Father, we humbly beseech Thee, of Thy great goodness, to restrain these immoderate rains with which we have had to contend. Grant us fair weather for Battle. Graciously hearken to us as soldiers who call Thee that, armed with Thy power, we may advance from victory to victory, and crush the oppression and wickedness of our enemies, and establish Thy justice among men and nations. Amen."

Requiem
Requiem
The Glory of all our freedoms
And truths of where our liberties lie,
That somewhere in a foreign land
A soldier must fight and die.
In honor of the brave men and women of the Coalition who have made the ultimate sacrifice,
As heroes they have died to protect our way of life.

JAGelot or A JAG in King Admiral's Court
JAGelot or A JAG in King Admiral's Court
There is a legend that exists somewhere
of a fighter pilot and his lady fair.
Of the Quest, over seven years-it’s told
Our actors-young in spirit, starting to get a bit old.
Unlike the classic story, King Admiral and MACevere do not pair
She being the trusted adjutant aide, a lawyer, a judge and a plotline we do not dare.
A spin to the legend of King Arthur and of Camelot, a place aptly named JAGelot
Our pilot-the knight: sharp of mind, handsome, strong
His noble cause he fights, he's seldom wrong
But with his MACevere, he's not that bold
Our warrior of white and wings of gold
Ah yes, the sweet MACevere, marine built-ready, fair of face
Brown-eyed lady, a woman true, the vision of steel and lace
Her heart to the one and only, Her Harm, the handsome Lancelot
Soulmates in their quest for love, unable the sweet words to speak
Her love-life, if you ask "pretty darn bleak"
But in her dreams-he whispers "Sarah" while she sleeps.
Together, they seek the mystical Camelot and all the riches that true love bestows
"Will they or Won't they" only TPTB really know.
In the castle tower high, the video princess gives a sigh
She realized long ago, that Lancelot was not her guy
On to Cyrus-her heart she gives,
Above a mortician's house she lives.
Singing dirges, wearing wigs, entertaining tombstones with a jig.
The nobel Das Bugme from the Land of Oz
Who waged battle for the just cause.
He has earned much respect and "accume"
With a kangaroo and a vacuum.
Behold and low,
The dreaded Mordred de Lindsey from SECNAV arrives
To claim his royal kingdom seat. He strives
With vengeance and anger in his soul-he keeps
To challenge our King Admiral to a dueling feat.
By his side: His weapons of lies, connives, and cheats.
He gives our kingdom-JAGelot-the creeps
His plans:to scatter to the four corners of the earth, the folks of JAGelot, to destroy all it's worth,
But Hark of pending news, the announcement of a forth-coming birth.
Our Harm, the handsome Lancelot. his smile, the grin
Awaiting an answer, unsure about the trouble he's in.
On his desk a federal bill, totaling about a quarter billion
A threat-he might loose his commission and turn into a regular civilian.
What the fate of our sweet MACevere? What does the evil de Lindsay have in store?
What tricks will he use to make her run? What will make her challenge her allegiance to the corps?
Will her knight in shining armor-plated arrive, to rescue her from dangerous plight?
His weapons of words and might, for his Macevere, he will fight.
Bud/Tristian and his Harriet of Iseulet traveling on the road a lot
Back and forth to daycare they roam, even bought a brand new home.
The evil Mordred de Lindsey has them in his sights
His goal to ruin their lives, with all his might.
Princess-sweet:our lady Coates and Tiner:Prince of lack-of-wit
Dark the strategy "of devil's work"-de Lindsey has plans to get.
Turn them out to the mighty cold,
His sinister laughter begins to unfold.
All Hail, Merlgis , son of the preacher man, waving his mystical magical wand
Changing the words of caution to the wind: eloquence in his response.
Leading our Mordred astray, with cunning and diligence.
"Be sure my words are heard sharp and clear", Merlgis declares.
"Hiss, Boo", Mordred, not even acting scared.
What of the shrew? The unfair Lauren of the Swamp
Who connived, cohered , condemned and complained
"Hey, Lauren!" ::snicker, snicker:: "Explain the weight gain!"
As ::gasp:: then mother, she bears the son called "Galasad"
"Who's the father?" "Who's been had?"
And soon we'll know the treachery ensued
THE SHOCKER, our TV eyes be glued.
When did our unfair Lauren and de Lindsay dance?
Was It all planned in advance?
Or did she give her sigh to a certain Russian guy?
Would Sergi be the father and why the heck, why?
Unlike the fight for Camlan, nor the battle rages for the land of Con,
The battle for kingdom JAGelot, rages on
Across the seas to the isle of re-Getess
Where the villians of remorse and hate reside.
Where Lucifer makes his home, among the fires dwell.
The Mordred de Lindsey contemplates the empire's final farewell.
Who will slay this dragon of wickedness in haste?
Who will brave the wounds to come?
Will it be "the hero" or someone who's "chasted"
Who will battle this despicable scum?
It’s the King Admiral and his Excaibur that guards the gates
Military justice-his creed, his fate
The king that is battle-scarred, a war-worn look
His battles always were fought by the book
How can he win against this demonic fiend?
What do the fates have in store?
Is it all in the name of revenge or is it more?
How does our King avoid the dirge of Avaleon?
With his fist in hand, he cries "The righteous will live on”
Enter, Queen Meredith La Cavanaugh, the highness of Shakespearean grace
She brings an offering of peace, a gift for Sir Mordred de Lindsey, a smile appearing on her face.
With her hands, she stirred and baked, a type of celebration cake.
Was pleased our evil Mordred so, he took a hearty bite.
He twisted and turned, cried out in pain, his gut began to knot
Screaming out "What is this poison you have brought?"
Innocently our Queen replied, "Sir Mordred, it's only a marble cake"
"Did I add to many?" "I must have forgot!" "Did I make a mistake?"
As our Mordred de Lindsey's life passed on-to sail the setting sun.
King Admiral asked the Queen "Now, what the hell have you done?"
The Queen replied, her head held high. "I've saved your kingdom and all the folks, now that Mordred's dead"
"Now, honey!…..grab your cape an' crown and come to bed."
She grinned "Where my weary King can rest his head."
As so, the twists and turns of plots, tis fate, as the story goes: We bid goodbye
To our heroes and heroines, to our Guinevere and Lancelot
In our hearts they will never die
But live on, happily ever after, in that mystical kingdom called JAGelot

General Douglas Mac Arthur Quote
"Your mission remains fixed, determined, inviolable--it is to win our wars. All other public purposes will find others for their accomplishment. Yours is the profession of arms--the will to win. The sheer knowledge that in war there is no substitute for victory. That the very obsession of your public service must be duty, honor, country."
Quote: General Douglas Mac Arthur,
On a statue at West Point, NY
How appropriate this quote is today
With our troops in peril and so far away,
That good men and women must die,
For the freedoms and liberties we hold high.
Let's bow our heads and say a prayer,
For our brave soldiers over there.

When Eyes Meet
When Eyes Meet
It is said the eyes are the windows to one’s soul
And the heart beats fastest when it is in love.
When the eyes of lovers unite across the distance
Tears fall quietly, helpless to console
Time stops still, just for an instant
In the glimpse: are whispers of longing and desire
Just a look, a gaze, are dreams of words unspoken,
And in the exchange of gentle smiles, warm and sweet
Is the message of the glance, a hug and tender kiss
The EMBRACE, to touch, of something missing
Forever, across the heavens
When eyes meet.

That Old JAG Magic
That Old JAG Magic
That Old JAG magic has us in its spell
That Old JAG magic that we shippers know so well
Those Spicy one-liners and dreamy looks that shine
The same old dance when their eyes combine
Same old story, just a different way to hide
And then the writers twist and turn our ride
Frowns and Frowns we go
Round and round we go
Like a deer caught in headlights, our eyes too wide
We should stay away but what can we do
This passion's turned into a game, TPTB are to blame
fanfic astounding 'bout a marine and a flyer
Watching every episode for just one kiss
Will our VCR's ever tire?
For this is the show we've waited for
Waiting for the mating, that fate has in store
And waiting for time his lips meet hers, :sigh: Divine!
Oh! Baby! What about the deal that's been found?, No more playing around?
We're a spin, loving the spin that we're in
Under that old JAG magic called UST
ooh in a spin, lovin the spin we're in
Under the old JAG magic that we're in
In a spin, ANGST keeps us in a whirlwind
Under the old black magic called UST
We should get a life and stay away but what can we do
We hear the JAG theme and then we are through
USA reruns, we never will tire
Only the edits, will we ever miss?
Will our Harm always catch the three wire?
Waiting for that episode that explains it all
The final tease that fate has in store,
And for that kiss that keeps us enthrawled
Hooh Rah
round and round, we go
Singer, Lindsay, Sergi, Do we really want to know?
Watching our Harm and that sexy grin
Lovin when our Mac when she wins
Under the old JAG magic called love
Ah What a ahipper spin we are in, lovin the spin we're in
Under that old JAG magic ( eight years and counting), Under that old JAG magic we love.

Last Sunset
Last Sunset
How odd the evening sky was today?
Pinkish-crimson streaked the horizon's way,
Shadows of fire's embers past glowing.
I view the last sunset knowing:
That in my heart are tears of despair
I raise my head to heaven in a simple prayer.
Now I lay me down to sleep,
Golden orange-yellow hues graced from the setting sun.
Prelude to the war clouds churning, once again the battle's begun.
I pray the Lord my soul to keep.
Almighty grant our soldiers safe from harm
Protect our friends and families near, harbor them close and warm.
As the moon begins to rise, the fullness of it's shining light
A smoky-gray hazy wisp begins to creep and change the stillness of the night,
An eerie illumination casts an ominous gleam,
Belayed the distant death and silent screams.
If I should die before I wake,
Grant us victory for the chosen ones,
Freedom and Liberty for our daughters and sons.
I pray the Lord my soul to take.
Death becomes my morning dawn, To greet my Maker, at the pearly gates
Defiantly, I profess my beliefs, "My Country-right or wrong
That America and her Allies, united, are still true and strong."

Deep of Deep of Heart
Deep of Deep of Heart
A tear falls from the sky above
Someone near and dear departs
Within the deep of deep of heart
He will morn a special love
And the rains run into rivers wide
Churning his soul, his thoughts, his mind
Someone who was gentle, sweet and kind
The pain of loss will not subside
To the oceans the waters flow
Riding on the rising tide
Sailing home, the Lord as guide
She is safe in HIS hands, blessed by HIS forgiving glow
And a tear falls from the heavens high
Her voice that whispers in the blowing winds
Her words that comfort him begins
His tender cry…a singe kiss…….Her one last goodbye.

Life Within
Life Within
The most powerful of all intimacies
A bond that lives on, one's legacy.
The decision, a deal, whatever the plan
Between a man and a woman,
To bring forth life, to create from two-a new one
The future generation, a daughter or a son.
And the sweetest of all words, of whispers in the night
In her eyes that speak "That now, today, the time is right."
The gift that the Lord bestows
Among the caresses and kisses, as a mother-she smiles, she knows
And so a baby begins, cells divide
He's ready to protect and provide
Gently he cups his hand and cradles her close
Embracing their child, the life within.

The Kiss
"Rule number one, Never, never get a female Marine mad" mused Harm as he watched Mac pace in front
of him. Mac was upset and in the process of chewing his six out for his last stunt in the courtroom. He noticed the fire in her eyes and her rapid breathing whenever she would get angry. "She's got spunk." He thought, a slight smile appeared on his face, that smile caused Mac to go ballistic. Her voice became louder, intense, the words more direct and to the point.
"Rule number two, never smile at a screaming Marine" Harm made a mental note, as he moved across the breakroom toward Mac. Now, just inches away, "A moving target is hard to hit.", he reached for her, placing his hand behind her head. His other hand grasped her by the waist and pulled her close, very close. His lips passionately met hers, she resisted a bit, at first, and then, the desire built. Breathing was an option. She pulled him closer, their tongues dueled and a small whimper of a sigh escaped.
"Rule number three, Always kiss a Marine AFTER morning coffee."

Triangle of Sorrows
Triangle of Sorrows
Amidst the stars and the blur of justice blue,
Tears stain the blood-red stripe of valor's hue
Ending purity's white badge of innocence-lost
"When will it end, Lord? At what cost?"
On this mournful day, she lays her child to rest
The mother cradles near her breast
A folded shroud -the triangle of sorrows
Future's unforgiving tomorrows
A fallen soldier of battle, of war
The uniform of this nation once worn
To lie among the brave and true.
Her sacrifice for our red, white and blue.

Sketches
Sketches
Ours but only
A bridge to cross
Between us, friend and lover
Time-the past, the future-Time to discover
"Do you love me?"
I asked him-his answer, to wait and see
His reaction, his face. Why does he hesitate?
"Yes?"
"Oh! I see?" as I walked away-let him wait
"Show me how?"
His kisses warm, deep
He swept me off my feet.
His arms around me, tight embrace
Her passion builts, beginning the chase
of a single just one
Last Kiss, Goodbye
Just one kiss but “WOW”
That’s only the start
"I loved you with all my heart."
She stood by, while I
had my last kiss, goodbye.

On Eagle's wings
On Eagle's wings
The Eagle soars the heavenly heights
God's angel of shadow and light
Guarding our liberties, freedoms, and our chosen rights.
This bird of prey glides without a sound
Knowing neither limits, perimeters or bounds
He descends from the clouds above
Over the earth, the land he loves
And passes across the flag that waves: colors of red, white and blue.
A tear falls from the eagle's eye
In his heart was a pain, he never knew
A hole, an emptiness, of that void in the sky
Of many lives lost, the questions asked, the reasons why
The cry, the hurt, the wound that stings
As the eagle flies to protect
The City beneath his wings
Always Remember, Never Forget

She's Got Me
She's Got Me
She's a handful, She's a challenge
Best friend, our foes she'll avenge
We argue, we yell,
But that look in her eyes, always will tell
She has me
She's a woman, she's tough, at times she can be mean
She makes one hell of a Marine
She's one of-a-kind
She makes me crazy, right out of my mind
She's got me
She's gentle, she's tender
She's my toughest opponent, my biggest defender
I love her
Don't lose her, you big stupid jerk!
Trying to make this "thing of ours" work
She has me
This feeling inside, pounding of heart
When we're together, when we're apart
Someone forever, someday I'll commit
Something I just have to admit
She's got me

She Cried
She Cried
She woke in the morning, just before dawn.
She was so tired, her face quite drawn
She worried and wondered about the test that turned blue.
She had to decide on what she should do
Abortion, Adoption, Absolution-Her pride.
The decision was hers. She tried and she tried.
A cycle, a circle that needs to be broken
Her past so rocky, the rumors unspoken
Her future: Ambition and success
Her past : To make sense of this mess
Then one day-Her beliefs and her heart collide
Mind over matter, her values, now, divide.
They had the questions, the gossip, opinions galore
The names that they called her, she couldn't ignore
Who was the father? Who was the guy?
In anger and defiance, she would deny
Who could she talk to? Who to confide?
Let the suspicions be, so…….. she lied
A kick an' a punch, the life within-silently spoke
Her feelings, her emotions suddenly awoke
Another kick, one punch, a family of two
A change in her life: a me and a you
A somebody, A someone to love-This child inside
Smiles and laughter, a future together, A bond to be tied
She cried

Somewhere in the middle of the night, a baby cries, a father wakes. He lets the mother sleep, her day is done. Hungry, cranky, thirsty. weepy, wet: a pattern he's memorized in his sleep. As he walks the wooden floors, he thinks , "Baby's only lonely, nothing more." Somewhere after midnight, where the darkness ends, Just before morning when the first ray of sunlight begins, he rocks, cradles his child to sleep. Softly whispering: From a father to my sweet little one……
Sweet Little One
Sweet little one
Welcome to this world, my daughter, my son
Precious little one
Your first breath of life was felt in my hands.
You’ll live life to the fullest, as a father I’ve planned
Your first cry, I’ll run to hold you
Your first laugh, it’ll be a happy song
Your first words, will call to my heart
From this day you were born, to the day that we part
My sweet little one
My precious daughter, my wonderful son
Your first step, toddling across the room
You’ll be leaving me much too soon
From the first day of school to your graduation day
As a family, we’ll find the way
Together we'll fight the monsters, an' chase the morning sun
Fly above the heavens and sail the seven seas
Yes, my precious little one, you and me
So many firsts, so much to learn
We’ll teach each other, to each other we’ll turn
I’ll be there to dry your tears,
And hold you tight to calm your fears
You are my pride and joy
To raise a little girl, little boy
Our beautiful daughter, our handsome son
Our sweet little one
Someday I’ll have to let you go
All this a father will do,
My child,
And everything that a Dad does
Is because
I love you
My sweet little one

Round ‘Tuit
Would the stars fall from the sky? Would the world stop turning ‘bout?
Would the sun forget to rise? Would IN turn-a-round and be OUT?
Would the music start playing only one beat?
If I just never got to it?
Hearing a child laugh, seeing a butterfly delicately land
Walking down a lane on a bright, sunny day
Building castles at the beach, and watching the ocean wash them away
Tasting the sweet of a lover’s kiss
All of this and more, I could miss
If I ever gave a damn, about getting around ‘tuit
Acting so foolishly, I must be insane
Dancing for no reason, in the warm summer rain
Snuggling under covers during the cold winter’s snows
This way, an’ that way, my mind slowly goes.
All for naught, If I got……
A round ‘tuit
Would it really matter if I mixed the good with the bad?
Will tomorrow bring me happy or sad?
When did the rules change; to this game that we play?
Would be ok, if today was today?
If I never get a round ‘tuit?
Prioritizing my day, choosing where I spend my time
Make some room for me, my whispers and rhymes
The when’s become whenever’s, Smiles are just frowns…..
Turned upside-down.
If I ever found my round ‘tuit.
My collection is growing, my selection is great
Each one I place in a pile that can wait
I have square ‘tuits, and angled ‘tuits, oblong and obtuse
And a virtual one, that must be the muse!
The one that I’m lacking, that will never be used.
A round ‘tuit
Would it ever be so bad, if I ever really got?
If I stopped asking, who?, where?, or what?.
Stop listening to the words “Get a life” that they say,
When I get around to it!

"Foreshadowing"
Ominous meanings "Come to me...You know why"
Untested, uncertain about one's true feelings, "Give me time"
An underhanded current lurking, misgivings, dread, a fear, *She's not here *
A foreboding…..a warning....beware
Omens on the horizon, our modern day Romeo and Juliet
Suggestions of the beforehand, of possibilities to seek
Words to the heavens, A simple prayer to speak:
Almighty, show us how
To open our eyes
To see with our heart
To listen with our soul
To love while there still is time
A premonition of things to come………..
"Do thou but close our hands with holy words,
Then love-devouring death do what he dare,
It is enough I may but call her mine."

Kind Heart
A kind heart he has…..
He’s older and wiser beyond his years
He’s stronger than iron, but she’s seen his tears
And yet,
A woman would run…..
Into his arms. She takes comfort there
She captures his love, seduces his mind
She becomes his life, one future they share.
And yet,
Through fire and water…..
She would travel into the darkness, without fear
She would move mountains, one stone at a time
Cross rivers and oceans, the highest summits she would climb
She would do it all for love…..
For such a kind heart.

Shadow Dance
Silver beams of moonlight dance
Casting memories of romance.
Upon the wall the images glide
Smoky rhythms-play and hide
And gray the stillness of the heart.
Never more, two souls apart
To disappear with the rising sun
How lonely is a shadow of one.

Forever
You're beautiful in the moonlight
But now, Sarah, I need to feel you near
Together, us, side by side, right here
In my arms, it's where I want you to be
In my heart is where you'll stay
Always
Hold me forever, never go away
It's like a dream, me with you-tonight
With you, our world seems so right
Hold me closer, never let me go
Hold me forever, Keep the loneliness away
Stay
Hold me forever, never will we part
You're handsome in the mornin'
That smile, Harm, it lights up my day
Kiss my tears, keep my fears away
Tender whispers, my words are few
"Never leave 'cause I love you"
Forever

Chemistry Lesson
Take a spicy, perky female Marine
Add a hot-looking flyin’ Navy guy
Toss around a friendship, far from the norm
Beware the steam, beware the storm
Stir the pot, break the mold
Beware the steam, beware the cold
Sprinkle with thoughts and a kiss that melts
Blend Her feelings, Mix in His faults
Beware the steam, the impending waltz
Combine together, turn up the pressure
Temper the heat, Add a bit more fire
Beware the steam, the desire
Hands brush/gentle touch, soft an’ tender
Feed his hunger, concede her surrender
Melt with whispers, fuse two hearts aflame
Changes occur, nothing’s the same
Beware the steam, the sizzling hot
And what do you got?
Combustion!

When writing and submitting to discussion boards or fan fic sites, there is very little feedback. I am looking for suggestions to keep the motivation going, postive ways to handle negative feedback. Possible motivational quotes for living/learning the writing life
